Peacock Blue for You

Jewel tones are popular this fall and I heard an interesting reason why. A trendy clothing store owner said that whenever the economy is bad, designers pump up the colors to rich, jewel tones to make the consumer feel wealthier. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but I’m enjoying the trend.

My favorite color I’ve seen so far is peacock blue. It’s not turquoise, teal, or aquamarine. This shade of blue is regal without being royal. No matter what your budget, here are a few ways to incorporate this color into your fall wardrobe.
